Uniform Final Exam (UFE)
The uniform evaluation (UFE) consists of three papers written over three days, one each day. The exam tests your competence by having you respond to business scenarios that represent challenges you have faced during your work experience, or will soon face as a recently qualified CA. The first paper is a five-hour paper consisting of a single comprehensive scenario. The second and third papers are four-hour papers, each consisting of more than two scenarios.

UFE Preparatory Program
Our UFE Preparatory Program provides you with all the support you need to excel. We begin your preparation with a workshop, taught by highly respected facilitators, where study and exam writing techniques are extensively covered. Exam preparation includes writing practice exams and answering questions, some of which are independently marked by specially trained and experienced exam markers. BDO also provides financial assistance for you to take preparatory programs offered through the provincial CA institute, the CASB or other external providers.
